My story

Pratt is a 9 month old male Hound mix, who is a perfect blend of adorable fun and heartfelt affection. Full of joy and curiosity, he lights up when he is outside, and he especially loves interacting with other dogs in the neighboring playpens. It’s adorable to watch him initiate a game with a play bow, eager to make new doggie friends. After getting to run and play for a while, Pratt shifts into cuddle mode, happily sitting beside you and leaning in for pets and affection. Whether he’s romping through the park with canine buddies or curled up next to you for a quiet evening, Pratt’s sweet nature and loving heart shine through. His unwavering loyalty, warmth, and zest for life make him the perfect furry companion to share life's joys and adventures with. So what do you say? The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm.
