What my friends at OHS say about me:I have been working with the Behavior and Training team here at OHS for consistency and am looking for a special home. It will take time and patience to get to know me. You'll need to meet with me multiple times before taking me home.To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout. I would love to get up and go adventure with you. Walks around the neighborhood, park, or the great outdoors would be stellar!Want help meeting new people and making friends? I will be your best wing-dog!I will be your shadow even on those grey PNW days.I may be a mature Border Collie, but I have a young spirit!Resource Guarding: I have a history of guarding my food from other animals or people.The type of home I'm looking for:I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.My energy and size can be a lot for little kids, but I would do great with older, dog-savvy children.I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.I like to weave between your legs while you walk, so I may not be the best fit for folks with mobility challenges.It could be with you!
