Hello, my name is: SkylarApprox. DOB: 08/24/2020Sex/Breed: Neutered male shepherd mixWeight: 55 lbsRescued from: Overcrowded shelterSkylar`s world was turned upside down when his family had to surrender him to the shelter because of a move. He was so stressed and scared there, shaking and looking for his family in every face. We knew we had to help this sweet boy find a new family who would never leave him. With patience, kindness, and understanding shown in his foster home, he is shedding his past and looking to the future. Skylar truly is a devoted family dog who loves nothing more than to be by your side. He`s a gentle soul who thrives on attention and wants to be right where his people are. He especially has loved the kids he`s met! He`s house-trained, crate-trained, and a total dream in the car. Skylar`s favorite pastimes include a good sniff around a fenced yard, a few happy laps, and an epic roll in the grass. He also loves to chase a ball and would be a great hiking buddy!Skylar is looking for a family who can help him build his confidence with new adventures. While he enjoys the company of other dogs, he would also do just fine as a single dog as long as he gets plenty of one-on-one time with his humans.
