My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I have lived with cats in my previous home.I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.A volunteer writes: Chubby-cheeked Pirate may look a little rough around the edges. But all this shy, curious guy needs is a pet parent willing to help boost his confidence. Brought to the Care Center from a home with many other cats, Pirate has been laying low since he's been with us, still adjusting to his new environment and not ready to solicit too much attention. When staffers approach him, he shows interest, and the fact that he's allowed gentle pettings tells us he wants to make friends--he just needs time to feel secure. (Yummy treats will help; he can't resist them!)
