My story

Midnight is a boss. He’s a beast, but he could be your beast. ❤️ He walks like a panther and is so beautiful to watch. This boy will run into walls or doors while looking back at you to make sure you are coming even if he is right against your leg. He was surrendered to the shelter because the lady of the house tripped over him, fell, and was injured. They were afraid it would be more serious next time. He is just really really really connected to and wants to be right with his person! He’s a big guy with a strong personality who needs a chow savvy alpha parent. His foster mama can do just about anything with him, but he doesn’t show as much grace to others. He is generally non-reactive to other dogs and people on walks. He gets along with the dogs in his foster home, both male and female, and will even play with them sometimes, but he would be fine as an only dog. He might even prefer it. He is all about his human and is an attention hog. He had no manners when he came into our rescue, but he is adapting and learning well. He liked to counter surf at the beginning but has improved greatly. He sits during meal prep time even though he is very food motivated. He’s estimated to be about 2-3 years old and is crate and leash trained. He is currently going through heartworm treatment and can be available to go home with you in late September or October. He is being fostered in Franklin, TN and must be picked up there.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Midnight, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
