My story

Meet Holly – 7-Month-Old Lab-Terrier Mix Looking for Her Forever Home! Name: Holly Age: 7 months Sex: Female (spayed) Breed: Lab–Terrier mix Color: Beige Weight/Height: 16kg / 53cm (at shoulder) Rescue Story Holly was found wandering in front of a convenience store inside an apartment complex. She was brought to the city shelter and is now waiting for the loving family she truly deserves. ‍‍ With People Holly is an affectionate sweetheart who loves everyone—both familiar faces and strangers. She happily approaches people, rubs against them, and loves to be petted. Most of the time, she relaxes on her own, but the moment someone shows her attention, she joyfully rushes over for cuddles, kisses, and hugs. She wags her tail at new people, enjoys both men and women, and gets along well with children. Since she tends to bound excitedly toward people, supervision is recommended around very young kids. She can be picked up easily and even flops over when someone tries to carry her—she’s a gentle, trusting pup. With Other Dogs Holly has excellent dog-to-dog social skills. She greets new friends by rolling over for sniffing and shows a calm, kind, and gentle nature. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and adjusts well even with high-energy friends. If things get too rowdy, she simply moves away. With Cats She shows curiosity toward cats without aggression. A proper introduction can be done if needed. On Walks Holly enjoys exploring outdoors. She sometimes gets distracted by curiosity and pulls on the leash, but quickly corrects herself when given direction. Overall, she walks well and enjoys following her human’s lead. Energy Level She has a moderate energy level. Holly loves outdoor play and activities but settles down calmly afterward. She plays enthusiastically with dog friends, then naps peacefully when alone. She isn’t destructive and is the type to play a little and then fall asleep. Other Habits Holly doesn’t guard food against people or dogs. She likes her crate and prefers eating meals and treats inside it. She isn’t a big barker, though she may occasionally join in if other dogs bark. She responds well to recall, mostly does her business outdoors, and uses pee pads indoors at night. In Short Holly is a sweet, social, and gentle pup who thrives on human affection and gets along beautifully with other dogs. She’s still young and curious, making her a wonderful companion for an active family who can also provide her with love, structure, and plenty of cuddles.
