My story

My name is Thatcher and I am a medium sized dog who is shy and showing anxiety so I need a patient human who will give me time to relax, unwind, and start trusting them. I most likely am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home! It will take me time to warm up but I would love to be close to my human(s). I am an independent dog who likes to do my own thing!My caregivers have observed that I might not get along with other dogs. I may do best as the only dog in my new home, or I may need a very slow introduction to other dogs. I am not sure how I feel about cats and intruductions would need to be made slowly but I may do best in a cat free home. Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home wtih adults or older children. You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.
