My story

🐾 Meet Squeeks & Monkey – A Bonded Mother-Daughter Duo 👩‍👧 Squeeks and Monkey are a tender-hearted mother-daughter pair who were surrendered when their previous owner could no longer afford to care for them. Right now, they’re feeling a little shy and unsure—understandable after such a big change—but their bond with each other is unbreakable. 💞 They arrived huddled together in their carrier, seeking comfort in each other’s presence. Though they found separate hiding spots to start in our playroom, Monkey went right to her mom after a nail trim, gently burying her head into Squeeks as they both leaned on each other for comfort. They take turns nuzzling their heads into one another for reassurance.🫂 Though cautious, they accept gentle pets and tolerate being carried (we carried them together to their kennel!). They were calm for nail trims and microchipping (just a little tense, understandably since they’d just arrived!) Their true sweet nature is abundantly clear. With time, love, and a quiet home, these girls are sure to blossom. They’re looking for a patient, loving adopter who will give them the safe space they need to truly shine—together. 💗
