My story

Snoop has a sad story. The police were called to the house he was at where they found his owner had passed away. There we a couple of dogs at the house with Snoop. I am afraid when they bent down and grabbed Snoop, he bit the officer. So he had to go to animal control for quarantine. This is normally a death sentence for a dog. We were contacted as we work with dogs with issues to see if they can be rehomed. Animal control had told us they had no issues with him while there and a volunteer even cut his nails and gave him a bath. We like to give dogs the benefit of the doubt with situations like this. Snoop had no idea who this was in his house and when you bend over a little dog to grab most will defend themselves that we have seen time and time again. We have had no issues at all with him, nor did our vets office when he got fixed. He is actually a very sweet happy little fellow who loves a lap. We hope you can understand this too as he has so much love to give someone. We would recommend no little children just to be on the safe side which we would say for any dog his size that has not had issues. If you have any other questions feel free to reach out to us. If you are interested in this handsome little fellow please email us at Doginghamrescue@aol.com so we can send you an application. We are based in the Nashville, TN area and have most of our dogs transported up north. The $600 includes the adoption and transport fee (will have a health certificate too). The transport fee is not refundable if things do not work out.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Snoop, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
