Black Lotus

My story

Black Lotus is a female kitty about 5 months old probably born about 4/1/25. She has a gorgeous, shiny black coat that is easy to care for; needing a soft brushing or gloving every couple of weeks to keep her coat shiny. Bonus: Black Lotus thinks grooming is another form of cuddling! She has a black nose, black whiskers and deep beautiful golden eyes. Black Lotus ADORES cuddle sessions and trading nose kisses. She gets along well with people of all ages and cats. She’s never seen a dog so the fosterer is unsure about that. Black Lotus found herself alone and scared, screaming under the porch of a kind young man that rescued her as a tiny kitten; no mom or littermates to be found, just the lone baby. He kept her for two days but didn’t know how to care for an about 3-week-old baby who still really wanted a bottle. A fosterer met him at the shelter and she has now grown into a beautiful, healthy, kitty ready for a loving forever indoor home. She doesn’t care for beef-flavored or turkey-flavored wet kitten food but will otherwise eat wet or dry food happily, especially dry Purina One Plus Kitten.
