My story

This handsome guy is Edgar! He arrived at the shelter along with two other dogs on 8/7. The family came and reclaimed the other two, but left Edgar behind. We're not sure why he wasn't reclaimed, but it appears as though Edgar has been beat up a bit, possibly by the other two dogs. The volunteers describe him as incredibly sweet and loving. He is very smart too and knows the commands sit, down, shake, and stay! If you can provide the love, comfort, and safe home that Edgar needs, please come meet him today. With his scarring we just know he's going to be overlooked in the shelter. Can you be his hero? Edgar is approximately 3 years old and weighs 57 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Edgar is waiting patiently in run 87; his ID # is 12597. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
