My story

  Meet Peaches – Sweet as Her Name       Fresh, sweet, and golden… Peaches aren’t just in season at the market—they’re also waiting right here at Critter Cavalry Rescue! Our girl Peaches is a 4-month-old Yellow Lab/Mountain Cur mix who weighs about 20 pounds now and will likely grow to around 50 pounds full-grown.       Peaches didn’t start life in the best way. She and her siblings spent their first months in a dusty dirt pen with no grass to play on and very little human love. But everything changed when she came into foster care—and now she’s blooming into the happy, gentle girl she was always meant to be.       Peaches is the perfect mix of playful and calm. She loves running zoomies in the yard, but she’s just as happy to curl up in the grass at your feet and soak up some quiet time. She’s great with other dogs and cats, and while she does well with children, she’s more comfortable with older kids who are calm and gentle.       She’s already learning crate training, leash walking, and potty routines—and she’s proving to be a smart, steady girl who’s eager to please. Athletic but not hyper, affectionate but not clingy, Peaches is a wonderful all-around companion in the making.       This little southern delight is ready to find a family who will love her forever.
