My story

DOB: Nov 5, 2023 Hi, I’m Alys! I’m a sweet, gentle, and playful little cat with one cloudy eye that makes me unique. My foster has never heard me hiss; if I ever feel unsure, I just run off to hide until I feel safe again. I love being around other cats and will curl up beside them when it’s time to rest. I’m curious, friendly, and love attention. Call my name and I’ll come running for chin scratches, head rubs, or even belly rubs. I also enjoy being brushed, and if you give me a Churu treat, I’ll even sit nicely for nail trims. I'm just not fond of being held for too long, I will try to break free but I will never bite or hiss. I’m also still figuring out what kisses mean, but I know they’re safe and a way humans show love. I’m very vocal when I want to play. I’ll chirp and meow until I get your attention, then bring you my favourite toy for fetch. My zoomies are the best! I can race around the house and climb my tall scratch post all the way to the top, where I love to watch the birds outside. I’m clever too, I know when the alarm goes off it means food time, and I’ll pace excitedly until my meal is ready. When you come home, I’ll be the first one to greet you at the door with my happy little chirps. Special note from my foster family: Alys has been such a joy to foster. She is playful, affectionate, and so full of personality. She loves the company of other cats and would do best with a very playful companion. Every day she shows more trust and love, and it’s been wonderful to watch her bloom. My home won’t feel as lively once Alys finds her forever family, but I know that whoever adopts her will be gaining a funny, gentle, and loving companion who will brighten every day with her sweetness.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Alys, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
