My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!Slinky tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Due to the behavior shown, he may not be a great fit for young children.A volunteer writes: Slinky looks a lot like Eeyore with his plaintive eyes that ask a million questions as he tries to get himself sorted. Brought to us from a home with many other cats, gorgeous and fluffy Slinky is often found snuggled in his bed. From there, he peers out and hopes to figure out when the best time to join might be. We explained that there's no perfect time to introduce yourself and that it's better to simply try, but Slinky's waiting for that moment. He's graciously accepted some of our offers of pets, though he isn't really one to ask for them and while he hasn't been one for treats, we know there's something out there that will brighten his day.
