My story

Are you ready for some fun in your life? Dumplin is small sized beagle/hound type that loves to do the zoomies and explore the world. She will “point” at her foster siblings and then play sneak attack to get them to get their attention and would love another dog to live life with. No other dog? That’s ok, if you are an active family that can keep this little she be a great addition to any family. Currently under 10lbs we think she will end up being between 25-30lbs full grown, which is the perfect size. She enjoys playing with her toys and calms herself while chewing on bully sticks before taking a nap. We are currently potty training, and she is doing well at holding it over night so we think she will be accident free in no time. Dumplin is working on boundaries and social skills and she is adjusting well into her foster home, we think she is very smart. Dumplin is a sweet and confident girl who would love a family to take her on adventures. If you are ready to meet this fun puppy please apply to Hero Dog Rescue. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
