My story

They say rain has healing powers, and our Rain is ready to heal you the best way she knows how—by showering you with love! Rain is a 3-year-old Shepherd mix (with maybe a dash of Collie or Cattle Dog) weighing 46 lbs. She came to us in hopes of finding someone to give her all the time and energy she deserves! This girl has lots of pep and would thrive with an active family who can keep her both physically and mentally engaged—whether that’s long walks, a jogging buddy, or a yard to play in. She is dog and kid-friendly, and would love to meet all. Rain even has some training under her belt and can show off her “sit” and “lay down” when you come to play! She can also be cat-tested upon request. We’ve been told she has a bit of an escape-artist streak. In her mind, doors can also be portals to adventure! She reportedly does just fine with fences though and always comes back with a wag and a smile.
