My story

Marble is a year-and-a-half old, affectionate tortie looking for her forever home!This cutie pie is a sweet and curious girl. She is delightfully vocal, saying “Hello!” to greet you or just to check in when she wanders away and then comes back. She loves to be near her people, engaging in play or companionship! Marble is very trusting and is quick to eat treats out of your hand or show her belly. She loves to lay on her humans and may gently nibble a chin or engage in grooming to show affection. Her favorite solo activities are watching wildlife out the window, playing with her kicker toy, and exploring the nooks and crannies of her space.This pretty girl is a young cat who loves hunting bugs, chasing wand toys, exploring, and sniffing out treats. After a bit of activity, she is ready to relax, get some pets, and snuggle up. She is wiggly until she finds the BEST, most comfy position for optimal warmth, likely curled in your arms or on your legs. But once she’s settled she will purr and is not dissuaded if you need to reposition your leg! She also has perfect litterbox habits!Marble is currently fostered in a house with two adults. She is being patient as the two resident cats get used to her presence, and would generally get along with other gentle cats (she hasn’t met a dog yet). She doesn’t mind it when the resident cats aren’t sure about her; she has more important things to do, like eat treats! This beauty is an easygoing cat who adapts quickly to new environments and people. Sweet Marble would enjoy an active home with people who are around frequently, with lots of both playtime and snuggle time, and definitely a window or two to look outside!Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits.
