My story

Meet Karter! 🐾 Karter is a 1.5-year-old, 25-pound brindle beauty with one brown eye, one blue eye, and enough charm to melt your heart. He’s energetic, loyal, and ready for adventures with his new best friend. This playful boy loves fetch, enjoys car rides, and will happily be your shadow around the house. He walks well on a leash (and sometimes right by your side without even holding it!), knows “sit” and “focus,” and is working on “wait” and crate training. He’s potty trained, friendly with children, and very food motivated—which makes training a breeze! Karter gets along great with his foster’s other dogs, and he would love a young energetic canine friend. He’s curious about cats—his wagging tail and playful bow suggest he wants to play, though he’s still learning their boundaries. To keep his active mind and body busy, Karter enjoys dog puzzles, outdoor time, and lots of play. With his loyalty, smarts, and fun-loving nature, he’d thrive in an active home that enjoys parks, travel, and plenty of adventures.
