ALL ABOUT ME  Name: Tasha Age: 9 months old  Gender: Female Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo/ Samoyed mix Colour: White Weight: 16kg Microchipped: Yes   MY RESCUE STORY Hi there! My name is Tasha. My brave mom was wandering the streets, doing her very best to protect me. She was sick with skin infections and pregnant at the time, but she kept us safe and never let anyone near. She gave birth to me and my siblings in a little greenhouse, where we all started our lives together. Thankfully, kind rescuers found us and gave us the care we needed. Now, I’m all healthy, happy, and ready to leave my past behind. I can’t wait to find my forever family and fill their home with love and joy!   MY HEALTH Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete)  I’ve been spayed and have no known health issues.   MY PERSONALITY I may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but with just a bit of time and space, I’ll soon come around looking for affection. Volunteers and staff always praise me for being such a sweet and gentle soul, and they say I look even more beautiful in person than in photos! When I was younger, I was a bit more on guard (I picked that up from my brave mama), but now with people I see regularly, I happily show my softer, loving side. I’m a naturally curious pup, so I’ll often approach new friends to check them out—but I prefer not to be petted right away, and I might run off until I feel comfortable. With patience, I promise my true sweetness will shine through.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I may be a little shy at first, but I’ll happily and gently take treats from your hand, and with just a bit of patience, I’ll soon welcome your gentle pets and affection. I’m a naturally curious pup—I love to approach people to check them out, even if I’m a bit timid at first. Once I trust you, I’ll happily roll over to show my belly and even let you pick me up—it’s my way of saying, “you’re my person now!” I haven’t had much experience with children yet, but with my sweet nature, I’m sure I’ll do well with respectful kids and slow introductions. I’m also very easygoing around food—I never guard my meals against people.   With Dogs: Although I can be shy with people at first, I’m an absolute social butterfly with other dogs! I love greeting new pups and making friends, and I usually click best with dogs around my size or a bit bigger. Playtime is my favorite time of the day—I really come alive when I’m running and playing with my canine buddies. I’m also very easygoing around food and never guard my meals from other dogs, which makes me a great companion for multi-dog homes.   With Cats:  I haven’t met any cats yet, but with a slow and thoughtful introduction, I think I could learn to live peacefully with a feline friend.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a moderate energy level, which makes me the perfect mix of adventure buddy and cuddle companion! I love spending time outdoors, exploring the world with my curious nose and happy paws. But once I’ve had my fill of fresh air and fun, I’m more than content to curl up indoors for some cozy snuggles and well-deserved rest.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m a good walking buddy and do well on leash! Sometimes my excitement makes me pull a little, but I usually follow my handler’s lead nicely. I can get a bit startled by sudden noises or unfamiliar things—when that happens, I tend to lie flat on the ground until I feel safe again. With continued leash training and gentle encouragement, I know I’ll build more confidence and grow into a wonderful walking partner. I’m already improving every day, and I just know I’ll blossom even more with the love of my forever family! I’m also an easygoing pup—I rarely bark, I rest calmly in my kennel, and I prefer to do my potty outdoors like a good dog.    MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a safe, structured, and calm environment. A family that enjoys spending quality time together indoors & outdoors. A family that can shower me with love and attention. A family that understands that I will need more guidance with leash walking.  A family that understands my shy nature & willing to guide me with patience so I can learn to become more confident.    SPECIAL NOTES Don’t let my initial shyness fool you—I promise I’m worth the wait! I don’t take long to warm up, and once I do, I’ll happily follow you around like a devoted little shadow. I have so much love and potential in me, and with the right forever family, I know I’ll blossom into a confident and beautiful young lady.
