My story

Peanut – ID 12829 – Kennel 853 Arrived as stray Aug 15 American Pit Bull Terrier mix, tan and white – Male, 1 year old, 40 lb Will be neutered prior to adoption – Up to date on vaccines – Heartworm negative Peanut is just the cutest little fellow! With his big smile, photogenic face, and happy-go-lucky personality, he’s sure to win hearts everywhere he goes. At only a year old, Peanut is full of youthful energy and curiosity. He loves to play, explore, and be part of the action, but he also has a sweet, affectionate side that makes him the perfect snuggle buddy when it’s time to relax. It’s clear that Peanut once had a home where someone cared for him—he already knows sit, stay, and lay down, showing just how smart and trainable he is. This boy loves to learn and thrives on positive interaction, so continuing his training will be both fun and rewarding. His eagerness to please makes him a great candidate for an active family who enjoys walks, playtime, or even dog sports. Despite starting over, Peanut hasn’t lost his cheerful spirit. He’s the kind of dog who greets every new day with a wagging tail and a sparkle in his eyes. With his good looks, sweet nature, and playful energy, Peanut will make a loyal companion for someone ready to give him the love and stability he deserves. Don’t let this sweet boy grow up in the shelter—Peanut is ready to bring joy, love, and loyalty to the family who gives him a second chance. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER.
