My story

Meet Pulaski 3, also known as Charlie, a mellow and sweet 10-week-old kitten with a quiet, curious nature. Found outside, Charlie has settled into foster care and is gradually warming up to people. While he prefers to observe from his cat house or lounge by the window, he’s been making progress—occasionally seeking pets and purring contentedly when given attention. Charlie enjoys playing with feather toys, balls, and mice, but he’s not overly energetic, making him a relaxed companion who appreciates doing things on his own terms.Charlie is litter trained and has impeccable habits, and he recently had his neuter surgery with no complications. He gets along well with his kitten siblings, often cuddling or playing gently with them, and is neutral with adult cats. Because he is still gaining confidence around humans, he may be shy around young children or in a very busy household.Charlie would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can continue to build trust, explore at his own pace, and enjoy quiet lounging spots. Underneath his initial shyness is a friendly, chill kitten who will flourish with gentle encouragement and love. To learn more or meet Charlie, complete an application and email catfosters@barcs.org.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Pulaski 3, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
