What we provide is our best estimates based on our experience and the information provided by the our medical partners. If breed and eventual size are of great importance we suggest looking into a breed specific rescue or adopting a full grown animal. Unless otherwise noted, ALL animals are fostered and available for adoption on Long Island, NY.  Meet Sushi! Age: 3 years Weight: 35 lbs Sushi is a sweet, petite girl with a heart full of love and loyalty. At 3 years old and just 35 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-sized companion—easy to cuddle, easy to handle, and easy to love. This brave mama was rescued along with her puppies when they were all at risk, but sadly, the original rescue group backed out. Thankfully, Sushi never lost her gentle spirit or her zest for life. She’s now ready to leave her past behind and find a forever family to call her own. Photos can’t quite capture her charm—Sushi is a truly joyful soul. She’s affectionate, eager to please, and happiest when she’s close to her people. She’s leash trained, obedient, and would love nothing more than to curl up in your lap at the end of a long day. Whether you’re looking for a walking buddy, a loyal best friend, or a loving lap dog, Sushi checks all the boxes.
