My story

Meet the goofy and sweet Bear! She is a 3 year old, 45-pound mixed breed dog with a major love for cuddles. We got Bear this past November from a family member who was moving and couldnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t take her with them. Bear thrives in a home with a backyard where she can run and play on her own. Bear is a somewhat active pup who loves to cuddle and smother you in her love. She can be one talkative girl with ahh ooos when she is excited. She recently just learned how to play after having 8 puppies of her own. She currently lives with 2 other dogs but she is best as an only dog. Children and people she doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t know make her anxious and she can become reactive if stressed too much. She plays well with our other two dogs but if she gets anxious or stressed she has become reactive to our dogs. Strange dogs make her anxious as well. Bearâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s favorite thing to do is cuddle up with her humans and will demand attention with her paws. An ideal home for Bear would be one with a backyard and no kids or other pets. Bear thrived in a house with a backyard with a doggy door but since moving into an apartment it has made her become more anxious. She needs space to run free without threat of any other dogs or strangers and in an apartment that isnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t possible.
