My story

Foster location: Appleton  Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio:  It’s Elmo time!  Elmo arrived at a Texas shelter as just a young pup with what everyone thought was an injured leg. Unfortunately the shelter couldn’t help, but one of OPARI’s rescue partners was contacted and Elmo got his freedom ride. They got him to the vet and found out that Elmo had no injury at all! In fact, it was a birth defect! Some weird thing called Straight Leg Syndrome!! The bad news is, there’s nothing you can really do to fix it. The good news is, there’s nothing you have to do cause there’s nothing to fix. He’s just special!  After some time in Texas, Elmo made his way to Wisconsin to find his forever home. He is settling in well, doing great with potty training, continuing to work on his kennel and leash skills. Despite his leg, he runs, jumps, plays and is just a normal puppy who gets up to normal puppy antics  He is just a happy, goofy guy looking for his own family.   Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc.
