Harpo

My story

Harpo is very new to BR but we have learned how absolutely sweet and what a doll he is in the short time we have had him and feel like he is already ready to find his forever home! He came to use severely matted but has since been groomed so he looks and feels A LOT better! We have had him vetted and the vet does believe both of his back legs are candidates for knee surgery in the future (he is at a level 2 now and would need to consider at a 4) so his foster is having him use a ramp for now and would recommend limiting his jumping on furniture. An adopter would need to know that may need to happen but BR would be happy to cover when that needs to happen in the future! He is an incredibly friendly little guy with a sweet disposition and does great in the car and is about 95% of the way potty trained but doesn't seem to understand the leash or a collar so the foster is working on that with him. We do feel like he likes his freedom to run around so a fenced in yard would be good for this little guy and he does love other dogs to play with! He can be vocal when you leave him so wouldn't be a good candidate for an apartment or a condo.August 26, 2025, 6:18 pm
