My story

Meet Pete Pete may be small, but his heart is mighty. This dashing gray tabby kitten was born around May 2, 2025, and came to us with his sister Piper. Piper has already found her forever home—and now it’s Pete’s turn to shine. Weighing in at just over 3 pounds, Pete is full of charm. He’s talkative, snuggly, playful, and has a purr that could melt anyone’s heart. He loves people, loves toys, and isn’t shy about telling you how much he loves you, too. Pete’s story has a little twist. When he was very young, he had a freak accident that injured one of his front toes. Despite weeks of loving veterinary care, that tiny toe eventually fell off. But Pete? He didn’t miss a beat. He’s a little warrior—resilient, spirited, and full of life. He runs, jumps, and pounces like nothing ever happened. At the time of his neuter, our vet will evaluate whether a small follow-up surgery is needed to tidy up the area, and if so, it will be done at the same time—and is completely covered in his adoption plan. Pete has already: Tested negative for Feline Leukemia & FIV; Received his first two vaccinations; Been treated for fleas & worms; Had a clear fecal test. The remainder of his vaccines, his neuter, and any needed follow-up care for his toe are all included in his adoption fee.
