Thankfully, his story didn’t end there—he was rescued just in time and is now thriving in a foster home where he's discovering what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family. Jose is a big handsome guy with an even bigger heart. He absolutely loves making new friends—human, canine, feline and even small farm animals! He’s already crate trained and is learning his basic commands. He’s smart, eager to learn and even more eager to please. Now that he’s safe and loved, Jose is ready to take the next step: traveling north to find his forever family. He’ll thrive in a home that can give him structure, affection, and a place to continue becoming the amazing dog he’s clearly meant to be. A typical German Shepard, he thrives with regular exercise, activity and having space to explore.  If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and all-around wonderful companion, Jose is your guy.
