My story

This beautiful Husky is Mollie! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 8/14, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. The volunteers describe Mollie as super sweet, chill, and mild mannered. She has been quiet in her kennel since arrival, and sits nicely for treats. We believe she will be more outgoing once she adjusts in a new home because Huskies tend to be adventurous and outgoing dogs in general. Please ensure you have the time, energy, and patience to commit to Mollie before adopting. Mollie is approximately 2 years old and weighs 54 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Mollie is waiting patiently in run 824; her ID # is 12819. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
