My story

CROCUS is the most adorable little short-haired male kitten who is mostly white, with tabby markings on his head and some tabby patches. Crocus is a feline athlete! He loves to play hard, especially with wand toys. He will provide hours of entertainment just watching his antics and acrobatics. Crocus is initially shy, but soon emerges as a perfect companion for someone who wants a cat who is more independent. Not to say that Crocus doesn’t enjoy affection – he does, especially being held like a baby and getting his belly rubbed! Crocus was born to a CRAN foster cat. He enjoys the companionship of other cats and would do well being adopted with one of his littermates – DAFFODIL, TULIP, or LILAC – or into a home with another young and playful cat or kitten. CROCUS has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FeLV and FIV. His adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.   You can meet Crocus at the cattery inside our partner PetSmart in North Eugene (2847 Chad Dr, across from Costco).  Please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store, and an adoption counselor will contact you to set up a meet and greet.   The $175 adoption fee ($320 for two kittens) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
