My story

Meet our sweet adoptable buddy CJ! CJ is a lovable young dog that is looking for a new family: one that can appreciate a goofy, puppy-like vibe wrapped into an adolescent dog's body. While he's still working on learning the basics, CJ already knows how to "sit" and has enjoyed playing with his toys independently. From stuffed toys to chews to hard rubber toys, this adorable orange kiddo has yet to meet a toy that he doesn't love. CJ came from a less-than-ideal situation, but has not let his past stop him from seeking a bright future. Among his favorite things, human snuggles are definitely on the list! He will lean his whole body into you and give sweet kisses as well. We all adore him here! CJ also enjoys playing with other dogs (as MUCH as possible, another go-go-go kind of dog would be a must for him!) and is a Dog Playgroup superstar! If you have another dog, we'd definitely want to be sure that they'd match CJ's play style. We don't have any history on CJ with cats currently. When he isn't bouncing around with the other dogs here at Lollypop, CJ can be found walking on the trolley trail or the Farm Walk with his human buddies. He absolutely loves being outside and taking in the sights and smells of the world around him. He loves watching the horses trot around, and studying the pigs playing in their mud. You can expect some puppy-like behaviors from CJ, no doubt: he is still learning to not jump when he is excited and to chew on toys and not human hands. He means well, and with some time and patience, he has done fantastic since coming into us. Ready for the kind-of-a-puppy of your dreams?! Please come meet CJ. We think he is just the coolest!
