You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thanks for your interest in a pet from A.R.F.! If you see a pet here, they are still available for adoption and you should apply through our adoption application on our website at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ So you know what everyone says about orange kitties, right? That they share a brain cell, that they're crazy and silly? Well, it is quite possible that Inchworm here is their leader! With the utmost love and adoration I say that Inchworm might just be the "derpiest" looking of orange cats. His absolutely adorable little face sports two eyes that are neither symmetrical or the same shape, as well as slightly cross-eyed, giving him the cutest of vacant looks. Not only are Inchworm's looks just the cutest, but his personality is one of pure insanity crossed with sweet snuggles. He can often be found chasing his own tail and whapping his paws at your toes beneath a blanket. He can't seem to have enough toys....ANY toys. Wand toys and lasers are his favorite, and boy does he have that crazy kitten energy. He leaps and flips like it's nobody's business. When he's not playing, Inchworm can fall asleep in some of the craziest positions....head back, mouth open...just check out his pics. He loves, loves, loves piles of blankets and fluffy warm beds. He absolutely loves to snuggle. He also loves being high up in his cat tree where he can look out the window. Don't miss out on what could very well be the "orangest" of all orange cats. I don't think it's his turn for the brain cell anytime soon, so he's bound to provide endless laughs and entertainment. Not to mention, he's an amazing companion. Inchworm is just a little guy and definitely needs a playful cat or dog friend in his new home. Don't have one? That's ok. Inchworm's bestie is Parrot, who is also available for adoption. They have so much fun together and would be a great pair. He would do great in a high-energy home, as well as a quiet home. He just wants all of the love that he can get. Kids, cats and dogs are all fine with him! This easy-going guy can't wait to find his forever home. We encourage you to consider adopting kittens in pairs! There are several reasons why Inchworm would do good with a friend, including: -Two kittens keep each other entertained - they will play and get all their energy out on each other in time for snuggles with you! -Having two kittens to play with each other prevents "I'm lonely and bored" behavioral issues. -Watching two kittens wrestle is quite possibly the cutest thing you will ever see. -The kittens will teach each other "how to cat" and learn to be more social with humans and people. -You'll save two lives instead of one! Inchworm is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained. Inchworm's adoption fee is $165. Please note A.R.F. does not approve applications for any kitten under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL. If you are interested in meeting Inchworm, please fill out our online kitten adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ today! Once your application has been approved, an A.R.F. volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Thank you for considering a rescue pet from A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation! We are based in Wheaton, IL and conduct adoption events in the DuPage County area. If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, please submit an adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ Adoption appointments are scheduled based on the order of applications received, so submit your application early! Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions or schedule meetings until your application has been approved. More information about our adoption process can be found on our website here: https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/ As an all-volunteer, foster home-based organization, A.R.F. Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. Please visit https://www.arf-il.org/events/ for a list of our upcoming adoption events. Thank you for choosing to adopt, not shop! August 25, 2025, 5:29 pm
