My story

If cats could tell stories, we know this fella would have a heck of a story to weave. As you can tell from his scarred up face, it wasn't full of rainbows and butterflies.  Meet the amazing John Wick. He was caught as a stray that was hanging out with a small kitten. John obviously took some lickin's doing so. He takes a bit to warm up to new people, which is understandable as most strays are not treated nicely by the community. Once he knows you're a friend, he will run to you for pets and purrs like one of Wicks motorcycles. He also likes to have conversations with you while you're spending time with him. John is incredibly sweet. He is very submissive - even letting the kitten keep him away from eating with a slap. The finder got him completely vetted, but sadly John is FIV positive. Before you stop reading - just know that FIV is not a death sentence. It is not easily spread. It doesn't pass to other species or humans and only passes to other cats through sex (now neutered so nothing to fear there) and biting another cat deep enough for saliva to get under the skin. FIV cats that receive regular vetting live long, happy, healthy lives - often without symptoms. If you have a cat free home or a home with cat friendly cats, this sweet man would love to have a warm loving place to finish out his years. He's currently residing with his finder, but one of her cats is not cat friendly so he's seperated.
