My story

Entomorphis A17728325 lb. spayed female, approx 9 months old -Slightly timid and nervous walking in the halls. She was much better when we got outside.-Inside the yard she wandered a little bit but mostly wanted to stay near me for pets-She’s so very sweet and gentle-Affectionate and gives kisses-She is super skinny and needs some TLC!-She loves to curl up and snuggle-Likes treats, sometimes sits and takes them gently-Not currently playing with toys-Walked the halls much better on the way back in. She’s already gaining confidence!-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be! -She totally perked up when she saw other dogs outside playing. Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
