My story

Jack Jr. is a lover boy who found himself outside on the streets. He was so hungry for love that his nickname became Jack the Tripper because he would run up to anyone and everyone outside to get pets. Jack has blossomed indoors and just wants to be near his people, get some scritches, and lounge around in a sunbeam. Jack is also playful and would prefer to be in a home with another active furry friend. He prefers to approach people himself, so would do best in a home with older, respectful kids or no kids.Jack has been neutered, microchipped, and dewormed. He tested FIV/FeLV negative, has a negative fecal, and is up-to-date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines. His ideal adopter is willing to feed him a moisture-rich species-appropriate diet (wet food). He is being fostered in central Indianapolis. Apply to adopt Jack Jr today!Jack is currently located at Nine Lives Cat Cafe until 8/26/25. Please visit him during the cafe hours www.ninelivescatcafe.com Normal ARPO adoption process applies. If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website at arporescue.org to learn more about our adoption process and complete our adoption application. ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jack Jr., please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
