My story

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly…In ReverseThe Ugly-Tiptoe Through the Tulips, aka Tippy Toes, aka Toes, was brought to KCPP and found to have a fractured pelvis and back left leg. Who knows what happened to the poor little guy? The best treatment for these fractures on little guys is cage rest. He spent time in the clinic then went to a foster home where he convalesced in a crate. His back leg will always be a bit wonky but he gets around just fine and can do everything other cats can do.The Bad-Kittens do about as well in confined spaces as toddlers. Tippy Toes was frustrated and bored and just not happy in general. If there was an award for worst attitude, he would have won for sure. But he was healing. His foster mom worked with him on being more social and getting stronger. He loves treat spoons! He’s the only cat ever that doesn’t care for Churu tubes. But treat spoons, he goes crazy for.Even with work and treats, he’s still skittish. He doesn’t like dogs. He still plays rough. But…The Good-There has never been a kitten with more resilience and spirit than Tippy Toes. He’s made HUGE strides in the past couple of weeks. He can be incredibly sweet! He likes to curl up in your arms and purr. He’s playful and funny. He gets the zoomies and runs around like a maniac. He just needs someone who can be patient with him and is okay if he still has his “moments’ sometimes. He would do best in a quieter home without small kids and dogs. Another cat in the home to show him the ropes and correct him when he gets too rough would be good. Toes is going to be a great cat, but he is a work in progress. However, he is 100% worth it. He is looking for his forever family that will be patient and love him, wonky leg and all. Did we mention that he’s also gorgeous? He looks like a leopard with his tabby spots!Toes is all set to go home with you today! Don`t miss the chance to make this remarkable little guy part of your family. He is sure to steal your heart!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tiptoe Through the Tulips, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
