My story

Honey girl, she is estimated to be between 9-10 weeks old and came to us from Kentucky along with her 6 siblings who unfortunately were all dumped in a bag on a mountain. How cruel is that?? Well, you would never know because they are all adjusting great in their foster homes. So much that we don't want their forever homes to miss out on all the fun, so here we are, searching for that home! Puppies are so rewarding and fun but also a lot of work so please ensure that you have taken the time to think about what it entails before applying! Things to note about Honey so far: - She seems to be catching on to potty training. So with a consistent routine she should be there in no time! We do know that when she moves to her forever home there will be an adjustment period but be patient, she promises she has this! - She was not a fan of the crate originally but since then has gained confidence and has no problem! - We are working on leash training. It is very new and so her new family will need to be comfortable with allowing patience and guidance to get her all ready. - She is friendly with dogs, children and people but as all puppies do, sometimes they need some guidance on boundaries. If you are interested in being considered a potential forever home for Honey please apply directly. Her adoption fee includes her age appropriate vaccines, first month preventatives, spay, dewormer and microchip. If you have any questions before applying please email adopt@chicagorescueauthority.org

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Honey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
