My story

Meet Reed, a gentle and deserving boy looking for his forever family! Reed is a young boy, likely just under a year old, and is a Lab/Shepherd mix. He currently weighs 31lbs, but could continue growing until he is fully mature. This sweet boy is picking up on things quickly in his foster home, and is a fast learner! He is working on his potty training, crate training, and is learning his leash manners. Reed is friendly and does great with the dogs he lives with and is also kid friendly! Reed is an easy-going boy who can&#39t wait to find a family of his own. He loves to play tug, romp around his fenced yard, or just snooze on his dog bed. He is smart, affectionate, and gentle. Due to his young age, he does need a family who will be available for regular potty breaks throughout the day. Reed is currently going through Heartworm treatment, and is currently available for a foster to adopt situation until his HW treatment is complete and he is medically cleared for adoption. If you are not familiar with Heartworm disease, dogs get it from mosquitoes, and it is not contagious. It is easily prevented & highly treatable, but requires extended rest during treatment. BarkVille will cover all of Reed&#39s medical expenses while he&#39s being fostered and receiving HW treatment.
