BARBARA NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Barbara and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (August 24th) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Silver Spring (12020 Cherry Hill Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904)!   Name:  Barbara       Best Guess for Breed:  Chihuahua mix   Best Guess for Age:  5 years as of August 2025       SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight:  8 lbs   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!   Check out this video of Barbara: https://youtube.com/shorts/673skWInagM?si=S_zvYlEQ2zacshfE    Barbara is Looking For:   Her forever home! This sweetie landed in the shelter through no fault of her own but she's closed that chapter and is eagerly looking ahead to her next one. The one where she once again has her own humans for sniffy walks (on her own four paws, please - she's not a purse dog!) and snuggles and all the good things that come with being a well-loved family pet. In exchange, she promises adoring gazes and abundant love and loyalty. What do you say? Is Barbara the one for your home and your heart? What My Foster Says About Me:  We will update this once she has spent time in foster care. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
