My story

**Hi, I’m Stormy…** 🌧️ My name fits my past, but I’m ready for sunshine ☀️ I’m a 3-year-old, 26lb Miniature Schnauzer mix girl looking for someone who believes every storm deserves a rainbow. 🌈 Life has been rough. You may have seen a post about me needing surgery and having my spleen removed. The vet thinks a car hit me. 😭💔 But thanks to these wonderful FCCR ladies, I am now healed, ❤️‍🩹 and I’m ready to find my forever home. 🏡 I am still a little nervous and new people make my heart race because I’ve learned that not everyone is safe 😔 But here’s my secret: once I trust you, I become your shadow, your most loyal companion, your girl FOREVER 🥺💕I’ll follow you from room to room, sleep on my own little bed 🛏️ right next to yours, and show you what true devotion looks like. I have good house manners (mostly!), though I get a little excited sometimes.🙈 I LOVE treats (who doesn’t?!)🦴 and enjoy walks on my leash but need some training. I am good with other dogs - I became friends with a couple of Shih Tzus in my foster home - but I need to go slow and sometimes I need space to be myself. 🐕 All I need is patience, love, and someone who won’t give up on me while I learn to trust and blossom. 🌸 I promise – with your love, I’ll flourish into the most faithful friend you’ve ever had. 💖 Could you be my person?
