My story

Meet Murphy!We call him Murph. 9 month old Schnoodle, came from a neglect situation, currently underweight and with a bad hair cut. He just wants attention and love. HIGH ENERGY DOG, he needs to play or go on long walks. He is talkative. Murphy is housetrained but not perfectly still working on being the best boy ever.. He walks on a leash but pancakes the moment he is scared. Murphy just needs patience and a lot of positive reinforcement, treats work well.Currently weighs 29 pounds and is filling out and growing (he`s not a mini, think standard schnauzer or poodle). Great with kids but he`s energetic, so kids over age 8 would be best (he can be a bit rough with Catie who is 6). He doesn`t know what to make of cats, he`s either oblivious to ours or wants to make friends. He would love a dog friend - he and Zora became fast friends and they play, hard. We are working on training him and he is very smart. Kennels without complaint. Murphy is an energetic, fun loving Doodle. He wants all the love and attention you could possible give him. Murphy lives with 5 kids aged 6 to 19, 2 large dogs, and 3 cats. He is still learning how to dog play but really enjoys it once he understands how to. Toys with bells are a favorite of his - he is constantly stealing the cats` toys and tossing them about. Murphy is unsure of the world outside his front door and will need a lot of positive reinforcement to get over his fear of the outdoors. He rides well in vehicles...once you actually get him in one.
