My story

How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on July 25, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Dewey, a pup who's got us head over paws in love with his gentle nature, goofy antics and resilient spirit. We're not kidding when we say he lights up the room, eliciting gasps, delighted squeals and smiles from everyone he meets. He's quickly found his way into the hearts of our entire team, and we're searching for a family as special as he is to give him a second chance. Dewey will thrive with a patient adopter who enjoys slow strolls and is more into cuddling on the couch than breaking a sweat. He's lost some mobility in his legs, but he's got a sweet set of wheels that help him get around! He will need ongoing support due to his special needs, but our veterinary team will provide you with all the necessary information to set you up for success.
