My story

**Note: Sonny is currently in Korea, but will fly to his destination once adopted. Background Sonny was rescued this summer from a city pound in Buan, Korea. Since then, he has been living at our partner boarding house with other dogs, waiting patiently for his forever family. Personality & Socialization Sonny is a sweet, gentle, and affectionate young boy with a wonderful medium energy level. He loves people, enjoys cuddles, and is always eager for attention. Sonny especially shines around other dogs. He loves to play and would be happiest in a home with another friendly pup to keep him company. He does best with gentle playmates and happily avoids bossy or dominant dogs. His easygoing, playful nature makes him an excellent second dog. Behaviour Sonny does well with car rides and has been calm during vet visits and baths. He uses both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty areas. He is still learning leash walking, but he’s making steady progress and just needs patience and positive guidance. Sonny enjoys toys and can happily play alone or join in fun with his canine friends. Health & Diet Sonny is microchipped, neutered, and fully vaccinated. When rescued, he tested positive for Hepatozoon canis, a tick-borne parasite, but after treatment he is now healthy. He has been dewormed, is on monthly parasite preventatives, and eats dry kibble with no known allergies. Ideal Home Sonny’s ideal home will include another friendly dog who loves to play. He thrives on companionship and would not do well being alone for long stretches. A family with a flexible schedule—someone who works from home or is retired—would be perfect.
