My story
Skipper is a sweet, sassy little pup whos blossomed beautifully since coming into our care. Once shy and reserved, shes been gaining confidence every day and showing off her playful personality. Shes still polishing up her leash and potty skills, so shell do best with an adopter whos patient, understanding, and ready to help her continue learning: just like any rescue dog. Skipper is naturally curious, and when shes not exploring, shes happiest curled up on the couch with a snuggle buddy (human or canine). Her signature look? Tongue always out, showing off her adorable little black spot. Skipper recently had soft palate surgery to help her breathe more comfortably, and shes already spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Shes currently being fostered in Martinez, CA, and is ready to meet her forever family!
