Gypsy tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home.A volunteer writes: The workers tearing down the building Gypsy lived in left her in a box at the neighbor's doorstep. She'd been living on her own since her guardian passed away and though there were very kind people taking very good care of her, Gypsy's been on her own for a little while now. While things don't exactly seem to be getting easier for this gentle senior, she's certainly committed to trying her best. Nuzzling into my hand before leaning her head fully into me, Gypsy's not the type to dance around at the front. We can see how she wants to be included with her soft gentle leans. Gypsy's hoping you'll come in and meet her soon. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 8.22 Age: 15yrs 0mths 3wks
