My story

Barbie, spayed female, 3 years old, 36-Lbs. If you would like to give BARBIE a forever home, please contact abetterchancerescue@gmail.com OR log onto abetterchancerescue.org to fill out online application About Barbie: Barbie is a super sweet young girl, she is stable and calm by nature; she can also be affectionate and cuddly when around her humans and kids. She is friendly with strangers including young kids and unfamiliar dogs. She gets along with dogs and cats in her foster home. She is house trained, with no chewing nor barking issues. She is food motivated, so is easy to train. Please watch her videos to appreciate how gentle she is around young kids and how well she walks on leash. Being friendly and mellow, Barbie will be a great companion pet for any type of family! Barbie’s rescue story: Barbie and her three siblings were born to a stray mother in the woody suburb. Occasionally the family got food from a nearby coffee shop owner. The owner also called the TNR team to help spay the mother dog. Unfortunately, the coffee shop ran out of business not long afterwards, and the stray family was left helplessly behind and eventually out of sight. At around 6-months-old, Barbie showed up again; the poor girl was overall healthy, only skin and bone. She is close to humans, friendly and mellow, so the rescuer decided to place her under adoption program.
