My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I have lived with cats in my previous home.I have been known to shower my favorite people in love!I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.A volunteer writes: Professor's a dream cat who's come to a bit of a bump in the road. He was brought to us after his guardian passed away and though a loving family member welcomed him with open arms, their resident animals didn't quite have the same enthusiasm. Professor is known to warmly embrace children, cats, and even dogs by playing gently and offering his beautiful friendship, but seemed to put his paws in his pockets and shrug his shoulders when he saw another change was up ahead. Since coming to us, Professor's remained hopeful and happy and has even gotten a little makeover. He's a long haired guy who isn't always a fan of brushing but still tries to make himself bright and shiny for whenever a visitor arrives. Leaning his head into my hand in hope, Professor is always willing to put himself out there, so he hopes you'll come in and meet him soon. Primary Color: Tabby Weight: 13 Age: 5yrs 0mths 3wks
