Gaia is 2 years old and weighs 22 pounds. She is sweet, friendly and as you can see in the video, enjoys exploring and playing. She absolutely loves the pool and playing in water. She was rescued near the border of Mexico. We are so happy she is safe with us. We can see Gaia doing well in a home where she can get lots of attention and active playtime with her family. She is curious and also enjoys being held. She has a fun personality and will bring her family great joy. She enjoys playing with the other dogs here at the rescue. She is just a fun-loving pup who can’t wait to find a home of her own! She would be a wonderful, loyal companion to grow up in just about any family environment. It is a plus if you have a pool or water for her to swim in. Gaia is located in Hondo, TX Gaia is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped and her adoption fee is $450 which includes transport to Geneva Illinois on October 18th (Gotcha Day) She can be transported with an approved application and confirmed adoption. If you would like to add this water-loving cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescueServices our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate). All age-appropriate vaccines, Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, Spay/neuter surgery, Microchip *The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance.* Gaia tested positive for Chagas disease and has started her treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. For more information, please review here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Gaia, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
