My story

Hi, I'm Asher! I am a goofy little boy whose personality is waaaay bigger than my body!  I adore being with my people, always sure to shower them with love and kisses (although I do need to work on keeping all 4 paws on the ground while I do that!).  I love wrestling and running backyard laps with my foster sister, but I am also generally respectful of the resident senior dog. I enjoy going on walks, exploring the world, going to breweries, and meeting new people and dogs.  While I do still need a little more training on the leash, I rarely pull, even with the prospect of meeting new friends or squirrels! I would rather cuddle up with you, but if I need to be crated, I promise to continue to be a good, quiet boy and sleep peacefully through the night, although I may whine a little for the first few minutes.  I am mostly housebroken, but please forgive me if I have the occasional accident, I'm still learning! I am unknown with children, but my foster parents think I would do well, as long as they are old enough to handle my playful energy level.  I am also unknown with other small animals, but I have yet to exhibit a high prey drive while on walks. Don't I sound like the perfect Short King that you need in your life? ##2491134##
