Meet Prickly Pear, a curious and vocal 6-month-old kitten with a shy heart. While she may take a little time to warm up, Prickly Pear’s inquisitive nature shines through as she explores her world with gentle wonder. She loves discovering new sights and sounds but appreciates a calm and patient approach. Once comfortable, her sweet and vocal personality emerges, making her a delightful companion.If you’re looking for a patient friend ready to share her curiosity and affection, come meet Prickly Pear at the MaryAnn Wright Animal Adoption and Education Center. She’s eager to find a loving forever home where she can grow confident and be cherished!For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Adoption fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, ID tag, fecal / worming, basic physical and behavior assessment. Dogs (6 months and older) receive an occult heartworm test. For an additional $20, cats (12 weeks and older) can be tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) / FLV (feline leukemia).
