My story

Meet Anna, a sweet and wiggly 1 year old mixed breed pup who just cannot wait to find her forever family! With her beautiful brindle and white coat and bright, loving eyes, Anna is as stunning on the outside as she is on the inside. At 53 lbs., she is a perfect medium size—big enough for fun adventures but not too big to snuggle up beside you. She may add a few pounds as she finishes growing, but what she really wants to grow into is the role of your loyal best friend.Anna has been adjusting in her foster home. She does well with children, adults and other dogs and will need time to warm up to new introductions. She tends to be a shy girl that will need time to come out of her shell. Commitment to providing Anna with reassurance, time and gentle persuasions will be benefitable to her growth in gaining confidence. It is all about establishing trust and Anna needs some time to make those bonds. She is a sweet girl with a bunch of love to give. She would enjoy lots of time spent with her forever family. She is a diamond in the rough with loads of potential. Anna has not been exposed to a cat since coming into rescue, so her acceptance of a feline companion is unknown at this time. What is known is that Anna is one smart girl! She has aced her skill set of house, crate and leash training. That is a great asset for her, and she will gladly show off her skills. It is important to remember that although she is house trained, accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. Whether it is cuddling up on the couch, stretching out on her dog bed, or simply being near her people, her heart is happiest when Anna is with family.Now all she needs is a forever home to call her own. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
